Museo is a 24 page type specimen booklet highlighting the font Museo designed by Jos Buivenga in 2008. The semi-slab consists of five weights and was inspired by a dream Buivenga had of the letter U. The booklet only contains Museo, measures 6x6in. and was created on a grid in InDesign.
The main challenge with creating this type specimen booklet was utilizing a grid system while showcasing the aspects of Museo. The design choice of color consistency was rooted in primary color usage mirroring the amount of letters in the typeface’s name. Color burning was used throughout the specimen.
